Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Coxico ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit coxico.xyz, use the MAIDS application, or contact us.
Where the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) applies to our processing, we aim to comply with its requirements. Our Terms of service are governed by the laws of Singapore; together with this policy they set out the contractual framework for the Service. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights you have under the PDPA or other applicable law.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: such as email address and profile details you provide when you register or update your MAIDS account (processed by our authentication provider).
- Usage and technical data: such as device/browser type, approximate region from IP, and logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Content you submit: text or files you upload for analysis, as needed to provide MAIDS features.
- Payment data: subscriptions are handled by Paddle. We do not receive your full card number; Paddle processes payment information according to its policies.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Authenticate users and enforce plan limits;
- Communicate about the Service, security, or legal requirements;
- Comply with law and protect rights and safety.
3. Sharing
We share information with:
- Service providers who assist us (e.g. hosting, auth, email, analytics) under contractual obligations.
- Paddle for checkout, billing, tax, and related compliance as Merchant of Record where applicable.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect the Service and users.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Retention
We retain information as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it where feasible.
5. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the Service. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.
6. International transfers
We may process information in countries other than where you live, including where our providers operate. We use safeguards as required by applicable law.
7. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
If the PDPA applies to you, you may have rights including access to and correction of your personal data, and in some cases withdrawal of consent (where processing is consent-based). You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) of Singapore where permitted.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
